Climate Change in the Philippines
Climate change is already existing and the proofs being clearly seen support the reality that the change cannot directly be described by natural imbalance. The scientific examination conducted recently has confirmed that global warming since the mid-20th century is normally because of the human activities. Therefore, due to the dominant growth in greenhouse gas absorption from human activities like fossil fuel burning and change of land use. The present warming has extensively produced complete significant challenges to human and nature, and will continue to happen in the future. Today, some sovereign integration is taking place; however, it is important to consider a dynamic adaptation strategy to obtain a sustainable development.
In order to make sure that adaptation strategy has a scientific foundation, there is a need for us to examine the possible outcome of anthropogenic climate change and in order to do this, a credible future climate based on a valid and precise baseline weather condition should be formulated. Scientists who are studying the climate call this a climate change scenario. it is a an estimate or forecast of a future situation of the climate process to coming greenhouse emissions and aerosols, and manufactured in imitation using climate models. It fundamentally explain potential future changes in climate variables like temperatures, rainfall, storminess, winds, etc. based on the starting point of weather conditions.
The production of climate change scenarios is necessary to gain understanding of our compound climate, specifically in the future. These manifest how our local climate could dramatically change if the society is not successful to give efforts to effectively decrease the emissions of greenhouse gas.
