Drive-by shooting
Normally a peaceful place like Malaysia is experiencing a surprising signal of violence. Nineteen shooting incidents were already reported in Penang and thirty eight cases of physical attach or murder all around Malaysia involving rifle were reported in year 2012.
Other victims had a golf course to the world of criminals or of organized crime, recommending a grass war over control of the illegal drugs and some illegal actions. As an example, a convicted drug dealer Mr. Veerappan belongs to a group called “Gang 36”, a famous suit. The injured bouncer is said to be a member of another organized group of criminals.
The police regard the increased of violence to the revoke in 2011 of the colonial-era Emergency Ordinance. It permitted for setting free of two thousand six hundred people held in custody, most of them used lawbreakers, back onto the streets. Probably, this is more an attempt to lessen the blame than explanation.
Even though Malaysia observed a powerful gun law, they are badly enforced, with less legal proceedings against someone in respect of a criminal charge.
