GM rice makes more food with less methane production
Rice is the most extensively consumed food that is eaten routinely and is significant grain that constitutes a dominant portion of a standard diet in a given population.
The cultivation of rice set free huge amounts of methane, a significant greenhouse gas. Methane ripped into the air being utilized just like from a drained tube, absorbs the heat of the sun and as a result of that, melts the atmosphere. If the heat is blocked, the heat won’t come out and the heat becomes high in temperature, so called the greenhouse effect. It is roughly calculated that methane is eighty four times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas.
Researchers are doing their part to work on preventing the release of methane, while the full amount of agricultural or industrial product increased. They develop a new revised pressure of rice that has few methane production compared to regular rice, which is necessary to bend the amount of greenhouse gases going in the atmosphere.
This new rice seems to benefit everybody for good yields and decreased the collision of weather condition. This procedure needs additional huge scale test and more accurate calculation of exact methane productions and yield of rice which is genetically changed should be made. If the procedure of reproduction has been accepted by farmers to develop traditional rice, mixture of rice that has more starch and little methane into the atmosphere would be clearly a great advantage.
