The kinds of food that a person eats are based on the high amount of starch found in potatoes, bread, rice and pasta; with many fruits and vegetables; some high in protein like meat, fish and lentils; some milk and dairy products; and with less fat, salt or sugar will give your body all substance that provides nourishment essential for growth.

When it comes to a good consumption of food, stability is the important thing to be considered. Therefore, proper balance in eating different foods and absorbing the right amount of food and drink are important to gain and maintain a healthy body weight.

Vitamins and minerals are found from fruits and vegetables which are an essential source. It is recommended that we consume five pieces of different fruits and vegetables every day.

It is also proven that people who consume at least five pieces in a day prevents the person to have heart disease, stroke and cancers.

As we think about it, consuming five pieces is easy just like eating one apple, banana, pear, or the same amount of fruit. A cut of pineapple r melon is one piece. Three scoops of tablespoon of vegetables is also another piece.

Eating a slice banana for breakfast combining with cereals is an easy way to consume one portion. Switch your biscuit for a citrus fruit and add a salad for lunch. In order to consume five in a day, consume a piece of vegetables during your dinner and dried fruit during the time of snack in the evening.
