Airports throughout china have strengthen airport security as the military parade in Beijing is fast approaching to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression according to Shanghai Morning Post.

Travellers are advised to arrive early for airport security checks and to ensure not to bring prohibited items like lighters inside the luggage.

Since the month of august, airport security checks in China have been tightened because of the emergence of travel season and the bad behavior of some travellers.

For the security of the capital city, Beijing requested Air China flights to block travellers from checking in forty five minutes in advance, organize local citizens to watch over the streets and passageways in the city and asked people to use real names when sending or receiving letters and packages.

According to Shanghai airports, passengers who hide lighters, matches, and portable chargers inside their luggage will remain accountable and may be sent to police station, following the latest announcement published by Civil Aviation Administration of China.
