Over one fifth of current passenger vehicles sold in Japan are hybrids. During the second month in a row, the transaction for hybrids overreached the figure which is twenty percent. This information was released by the Japan Automobile Dealer Association. There were two companies that earn most from this modern hybrid bang.
In Honda, the profit was over thirty eight percent for the Fit and 89 percent for the Freed. Hybrid models are considered to be sixty percent of Fit profit and over forty percent of Freed.
Toyota considered hybrids very significant, where they reached about half of their earnings in Japan. During their ninth month operation, the Prius has the very large sales and very popular in Japan. Their February sales increased for about eighty eight percent. Its younger brother, the Aqua compact hybrid (sold in the U.S. as Prius C,) ranked fourth in the list with twenty one thousand nine hundred fifty one units sold. Toyota had initially planned 12,000 Aqua/Prius C a month, and is incapable maintain with the demand.
